I create art to honour the sense of a place rather than the details. I draw inspiration from the calming fields, riverbanks, lakes, and rivers of the Canadian prairies I call home. Using a variety of mediums I create simple, organic art, often blending little bits of earth & landscape into the work itself. My art is a quiet act of gratitude for the land and places that still and ground us.

I work slowly and intentionally, building several ongoing collections in paint, print and clay.
